Duffield Dynamos Eagles & Falcons

A big thank you to ETS from the Duffield Dynamos for sponsoring our two teams – The Eagles and The Falcons.
Both teams currently play in the Derby Mini Soccer league at Mackworth – and they really look the part in their smart kits.  I may be biased but I think that they look some of the smartest players down there!

I know that the boys are really proud to put on their professional looking kits – now thanks to ETS they have a first rate kit, now all we have to do is to give them first rate coaching!

Many thanks to ETS for your kind support, next time I need some quality parts and service I know where to go.

Ben Stone-Payne is fundraising for Crohn's & Colitis UK

Ben Stone-Payne and his sister Ami are both active swimmers & have been sponsored by ETS for a few years now.

When Ben was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, a bowel condition that can devastate lives and currently has no cure, his whole family decided to throw themselves into raising money for the charity 'Crohns & Colitis UK' which aims to obtain a better quality of life for sufferers and eventually find a cure for this terrible condition.

We are proud supporters of Ben's charity work and love sharing his achievements in the world of swimming. We are full of admiration for him and his family in what they are achieving for this very worthwhile cause. He's recently been taking part in several open water swims to raise even more money for Crohns & Colitis, a fantastic & brave thing to do, especially when you consider Ben is only 11 years old.  Incredibly, since last years diagnosis Ben has raised over £6,000 for the charity, if you'd like to Donate Now to his just giving page, we know every penny is very much appreciated.

Belper Meadows Bowls Club

Belper Meadows Bowls Club thank ETS for sponsoring our annual Spring Bank Holiday doubles competition.  The event attracted 64 players(32 pairs) along with their supporters from clubs both local and around the county.  ETS's generous support meant a great day was had by all, with the Meadows raising essential funds, allowing us to sustain and promote Crown Green Bowls, a sport for everyone both young and old in the local community.

We team up with The Shaun Barker Foundation to launch the "Kitted Out" Project

Eden Tyres & Servicing are proud to announce that we have now teamed up with The Shaun Barker Foundation a charity set up in 2014 by Derby County captain Shaun Barker.  After an horrific knee injury during a match in 2012, Shaun decided he wanted to give more back to the community that supported him and set up the foundation with the aim of supporting underprivileged children in the city of Derby. The foundation is split into 3 categories: Arts & Culture, Social Care and Sports in the Community.  We are delighted to have teamed up with Shaun to launch the new "Kitted Out" project which is aimed at helping under 7's and 8's grassroots clubs get kitted out for their first steps into competitive football. Shaun's passion and drive to make a positive difference is inspiring and we are excited to see what we can create together in the future and how this will impact our local communities.

Moorgreen Colts Blues Under 10's

Eden Tyres & Servicing have sponsored Moorgreen Colt's for the last 3 years and are proud to have witnessed how the team have grown up and developed.

They were promoted from division 8 to division 6 this year and managed to win the league with a game to spare! Their coach Ian Stevenson said:

"We are in good shape as a team with 16 boys moving to 9 aside next season and will be getting to grips with offside and bigger pitches which is all new and exciting stuff for them, and us!!

It's been fantastic that ETS have been able to support us since the boys started at u7s and  I just wanted again, from all the boys coaches and supporters at Moorgreen U10s to say a massive thank you for the support you have given us.

The boys are super proud every week to wear their kit with your logo on and we have had so many comments about how smart the boys look! We always recommend you to all the parents and visitors as the best garage around (I personally wouldn't go anywhere else now - your manager in Giltbrook is fab!)

Team Lullaby FC

Eden Tyres & Servicing have sponsored Team Lullaby for a number of years.  The team was founded to raise money for The Lullaby Trust who are now the UK's leading cot death research charity.  Dale & Adam Blackburn who both work in our Wholesale office both play for the team and take part in numerous games and events to raise money for this very worthwhile cause.

Derby Junior Football League "Respect" Programme

We're delighted to announce that we'll be continuing to support the "Respect" programme in 2017/2018.

"Respect" is the collective responsibility of everyone involved in the game to create a fair, safe and enjoyable environment in which every match can take place. We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behaviour in the game. This includes players, parents, spectators, club officials, league officials and FA officials. Those who do not, will not be welcomed.

In The FA's survey of over 37,000 grassroots participants, behavior was their biggest concern. This included the abuse of match officials and the unacceptable behavior by over-competitive parents, spectators and coaches on the sidelines. The FA's Respect programme is aimed at tackling unacceptable behavior across the whole game. The Derby Junior Football League totally supports this programme and, in addition to standard codes of conduct has introduced a number of measures of its own to support this.

SPONDON DYNAMOS FC

Eden Tyres & Servicing have been sponsoring Spondon Dynamos for a number of years.  The team first formed over 10 years ago in 2007 as a Seven-A-Side team playing in the Derby junior leagues. Many of the original team are still playing now although they have had a few new additions join them along the way.

The team now play in the Derby City Saturday league with home games at The Baytree Arena on Saturday mornings.  Spondon Dynamos have enjoyed number of successes over the years, picking up a number of tournament wins.  They are delighted this year that, after a competing in every age group throughout the junior leagues, they will be entering youth/adult football.

They finished junior football with the leagues highest scorer and scoring more goals then all but one team. Hopefully they will take this free scoring into the new season with this, another step up for the Dynamos.

Although it's been a tough task keeping the team going all these years, with the help of ETS, a lot of the worry about funding for kits etc is taken away and they can concentrate on the important stuff, getting out to play football.
