Terms & Conditions

By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other requirements set out in the promotional material.

  1. Eligibility: Promotion open to retail customers, resident in the UK aged 17 years+. Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, retailer, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion and trade customers (fleet and company vehicle drivers) are not eligible to enter this promotion.
  2. Purchase required: Minimum of one Continental car, van or 4×4 tyre in a single transaction between 01.10.21 to 31.10.21. Only purchases of new Continental tyres qualify. List of Continental stockists is available at www.continentalwinners.com/uk/150-years.
  3. The offer: Purchase one or more Continental tyre in one transaction for your chance to spin the wheel and win a prize at continentalwinners.com. Once you’ve spun the wheel, win or lose you can also enter our social media giveaway to win a £1,000 Love2shop e-Gift Card.
  4. Wheel spin:
    1. After making a valid purchase, visit continentalwinners.com and click on the ‘Get started’ button.
    2. Fill in all of the presented fields and attach a proof of purchase before clicking on the ‘Spin to win’ button. Only one entry per valid purchase is allowed and all entries must be made before midnight 30.11.21.
    3. If your details check out, you will be taken through to the wheel spin, which will land on either £0, £50, £75, £100, £250, £500 or £1,000. Landing on £0 means you haven’t won, but landing on any of the other values means you have won a Love2shop e-Gift Card.
    4. If you win then you will receive an email to the address previously provided confirming the value of your Love2shop e-Gift Card.
    5. The Promoter will securely pass on valid entries to Love2shop within 7 working days. If an entry is deemed invalid the Promoter will notify the entrant within 14 working days. If rectifiable the entrant will have 14 calendar days to provide a valid entry.
    6. Love2shop will issue the e-Gift Card via email with instructions for use within 14 working days of receiving a valid entry. The Love2shop e-Gift Card can be exchanged for over 40 branded e-Gift Cards, the full list is available at highstreetvouchers.com/e-gift-cards/love2shop-e-gift-card.
    7. The Love2shop e-Gift Card must be used within 12 months of its issue date.
  5. Social media giveaway:
    1. After successfully spinning the wheel, entrants will be presented with the details of the social media giveaway. Simply click on the ‘Facebook’ or ‘Twitter’ button to be taken to the respective site.
    2. If sharing via Twitter the text for the tweet will be automatically populated, so entrants just need to press the ‘tweet’ button for a successful entry. If sharing via Facebook, entrants will be given suggested text but must write the post themselves, and for it to be a successful entry they must tag @Continental Tyres UK correctly. Only one entry per valid purchase allowed and all entries must be made before midnight 30.11.21.
    3. The draw will take place in the first week of December, with the winner being selected at random by the Promoter under the supervision of an independent observer.
    4. The winner will be contacted by the Promoter within 48 hours of the draw. In the event the claim for the prize is not received by the Promoter within 72 hours of such notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original. No responsibility can be taken for claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. The winner must have made a valid purchase, if not, then an alternative winner will be selected instead.
    5. Once a valid winner has claimed their prize of a £1,000 Love2shop e-Gift Card, then the Promoter will securely pass on their details to Love2shop within 7 working days.
    6. Love2shop will issue the e-Gift Card to the winner via email with instructions for use within 14 working days of receiving the request from the Promoter. The Love2shop e-Gift Card can be exchanged for over 40 branded e-Gift Cards, the full list is available at highstreetvouchers.com/e-gift-cards/love2shop-e-gift-card.
    7. The Love2shop e-Gift Card must be used within 12 months of its issue date.
  6. No cash or other prize alternative available, in whole or in part, except owing to circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to offer a suitable alternative of equal or greater value.
  7. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the prize will only be awarded directly to the qualifying purchaser.
  8. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of the prize, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all qualifying purchases and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions, and these will be binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  10. Only in circumstances that make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions at any stage but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants.
  11. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
  12. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  13. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on UK Law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
  14. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party (other than the Promoter’s agencies for the purpose of servicing/implementing the promotion.)
