We’re aware that, although tyres are vital to your vehicle safety, they aren’t the most exciting purchase! That’s why we strive to make having tyres fitted with us as easy & stress free as possible. Our online booking service means you can choose a fitting time that suits you and typically have a pair of tyres fitted in around 30 mins. All our receptions are family friendly and offer WiFi, free drinks, TVs and newspapers so you can sit back and relax whilst we get you back on the road again in no time at all!

Free Alignment Checks

Unlike mobile tyre fitting services, we can provide a complete, hassle free service when it comes to having your tyres fitted. If there’s a problem with your alignment then that’s going to have a severe impact on the performance of your vehicle and how quickly your new tyres wear, which is why we would always recommend taking advantage of our free alignment check service when you’re having new tyres fitted. We’ve invested over ¼ million pounds in specialist wheel alignment technology that will check your vehicle alignment against the manufacturers specifications and allow us to make adjustments that will ensure you get the maximum wear from your new tyres. You’re under no-obligation to get alignment adjustments if you have the free check, however it does enable us to advise you if there’s a problem that will impact the wear of your new tyres.

Choosing the best tyres for your vehicle

Knowing what tyres are best for your vehicle is dependent on a few factors. What you use the vehicle for and your budget will have a factor on what tyres are going to be the best choice for you.

Thankfully, as an independent tyre retailer we can offer impartial advice on which tyres to have fitted. Take a look at our tyre buying guide for more information

How often should I check my tyres?

We recommend checking your tyres around once a month and before any long journey. Checks should include checking the air pressure, tread depth and overall condition of the tyre.

If you don’t have a tread depth gauge, you can even Check your Tyres with a 20p piece, if in any doubt though, just call in and we’ll check them for you.

How to know if tyres need replacing

When your tread depth wears down to around 3mm, you will notice that your tyres don’t grip as well as they did and this is the time you should start to consider changing them.

Legally, it’s not until the tread depth wears down to 1.6mm that you must change your tyres in order to be safe and legal on the road.

Where can I find my tyre size?

All vehicles have different tyre sizes. You will find your tyre size imprinted in the rubber on the side of your tyre. Do bear in mind that some vehicles such as BMW’s & Mercedes have different sized tyres on the rear to the front so always check the exact tyre you’d like replacing.

The EU tyre label

Since November 2012, all tyres sold have to have an EU Tyre Label which scores the tyre on wet braking, fuel efficiency and external noise. This label was designed to help you as the consumer make a more informed choice when it comes to choosing tyres for your vehicle.
