Service Receptionist Job Description

Are you a friendly, organised and customer-focused professional looking for your next challenge? At Eden Tyres & Servicing in Burton on Trent, we’re looking for a Service Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our busy branch. As part of one of the East Midlands’ fastest-growing, family-run businesses, you’ll play a key role in keeping the day running smoothly, greeting customers, handling enquiries, booking vehicles in, preparing quotes and supporting the Branch Manager with day-to-day administration. Customer Service

• Greet customers professionally and courteously on arrival
• Handle customer enquiries face-to-face and over the telephone
• Provide clear information regarding services, repairs, pricing, and timescales

Calls & Administration

• Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to customers
• Book vehicles in for servicing, repairs, and inspections
• Update customer records accurately
• Take messages and pass information to relevant staff

Pricing & Sales

• Prepare and explain quotes for vehicle repairs and services
• Upsell relevant products or services where appropriate
• Take payments and issue invoices or receipts

Previous automotive experience is beneficial but not essential – we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
