Are you a qualified MOT Tester looking for a varied and dynamic role? Join Eden Tyres & Servicing, an award-winning, fast-growing family-run business, as a Relief MOT Tester / Service Technician. In this exciting position, you’ll cover absences and sickness across our branches, performing MOT testing, servicing, and repairs, ensuring no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Class 4 MOT testing; experience with Class 5 & Class 7 MOTs is advantageous
- Perform vehicle servicing and repairs, including part replacements and fault diagnostics
- Provide support across multiple branches as a flexible, reliable team member
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer service
Requirements:
- DVSA MOT tester qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience as a Service Technician preferred
- Flexible, adaptable, and organised approach
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset

We have a vacancy for a Customer Service Advisor to join our Somercotes garage. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a friendly, supportive team in one of the East Midlands’ fastest-growing family-run automotive businesses.
What You’ll Do:
Working in our busy garage reception, you’ll assist the Branch Manager and ensure customers receive excellent service by:
- Communicating updates to customers about their vehicles
- Generating accurate service quotations
- Managing bookings and responding to customer queries
- Maintaining a smooth, professional front-of-house experience
Previous automotive experience is beneficial but not essential – we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Jordan, 27, joined Eden Tyres just over three years ago as a Service Technician and quickly made his mark. With a clear goal to move into management, he showed the passion and drive that the company values. Within seven months, he became Assistant Manager at our Swadlincote branch, completing courses to sharpen his management skills and gain a deeper understanding of the business.
Today, Jordan leads our Beeston branch as Branch Manager. His journey reflects both his hard work and the support Eden Tyres offers, all while maintaining the family business feel that makes the company so special.
Scott Woodward joined Eden Tyres as a 17-year-old apprentice. While studying and gaining hands-on experience in the branch, he quickly passed his Level 2 and 3 Vehicle Inspection qualifications. His dedication soon led him to become a fully qualified MOT Tester and take on the role of Assistant Manager.
Over 10 years later, Scott now leads his branch as Branch Manager, guiding his team with the same commitment and passion that helped him grow from apprentice to leader.
Melissa joined Eden Tyres at 18 as a receptionist at our Derby garage. Her flair for customer service and helpful nature quickly made her a favourite with customers. She soon developed a deep knowledge of tyres and vehicles, becoming a true expert.
Eight years later, when the role of Customer Service Manager became available, Melissa was the obvious choice. She now leads our customer service team from head office, ensuring standards stay high and our customers leave happy every time.
